Slightly off topic, but I was wondering whether onepoll is really worth persevering with.
Admittedly I keep forgetting to check, but my account balance is only £4 and it's an awful lot of 10 and 20p surveys to get to £40. I only do the paid ones, are the competition ones worth having a go at? I always feel that chances of winning are so small it's really not worth the effort.
All shall be well, and all shall be well, and all manner of things shall be well.

Pedant alert - it's could have, not could of.

Trying to sign up to OnePoll. It keeps coming up saying my location does not match my country when filling out the registration form.

I've put England and my postcode. I dont know why its not working? Any ideas?

It's probably you IP Address, but first did you type the word England or did you pick it from a list?

Go to this site http://ip-lookup.net/ and it should tell you your IP address "WAN" and what country it is associated with.

It may say your country is the United Kingdom, in which case you should put that as your country when registering with onepoll, as they will do the same check.

I have found its a lot of surveys but then you do get some that are very short for the money.

I have been paid 3 times and almost at 4th payout, would recommend doing it since although it takes a long time to hit payout (calendar wise) you know you'll get paid and you know you can reach a few payouts a year without straining yourself too much.

That's odd, the site is definitely working.

Try both these links, one should work and the other should show the Parallels page.

    http://www.onepoll.com/index.php

    http://www.onepoll.com/index.html

First one brings up the siteopia holding page for me, and the second one give me a 404 error page.

    But thanks for trying.

Edited to add: also tried from a diff browser and my iPad and iPhone - same result. Maybe it's a problem with specific IP addresses? Will try again with phone when I go out later.

I was at home when it worked for me last night, I've just tried it from work and it still lets me log in just fine and I've just taken a survey.

That's odd, the first link is the onepoll page and the second is just the file that is automatically put there when the web space is created.

It's working on my work laptop this morning, didn't try from home one though this morning. Strange.

Not working for me. Same problems as described by others. Maybe they don't know. Is it possible for someone who can connect to let them know?

Again, I just get the Siteopia page.

Interestingly, have just connected fine to Onepoll on my iPhone using 3G while I was out, so it must be something specific to my home IP address, I'm guessing.

    Have just tweeted them.

They replied to somebody else's tweet on same problem earlier saying that they have applied an update, and to check back this afternoon, the problem should be rectified.

    Fingers crossed.
