Would I be able to claim contribution-based JSA?

My husband and I have just left our jobs voluntarily as we are moving to another part of the country (also voluntarily).
Would we be able to claim contribution-based JSA? We have both worked and paid NI for the last couple of decades!
Many thanks
Hannah

You can claim contribution based JSA but there may be a sanction from between 2 to 26 weeks as you left voluntarily. If you can show good cause for leaving the jobs and moving the sanction would be less.0
