How many files and how often are you going to do this?
If the answer is a couple of files then I'd say email them!
If you want a more techy solution, you will have to network the laptops which is fairly straight forward. Are you using a wireless router?0 -
We have a router for Broad Band and its around 4 Gigs of files mostly photos and documents for Uni, we don't intend to do it that often0

Try "How to set up your computer for home networking" and "How to add a computer to your network using Windows XP" at http://www.microsoft.com/windowsxp/using/networking/setup/default.mspx0
