cukoo spit

hi i have a problem with cukoo spit on both my rosemary bush and lilic bush.i know it is some kind of bug so does anyone have any ideas how to get rid of them?bearing in mind i use the rosemary for cooking so dont want to use a harmful chemical.:smiley:

    I just wash it of my rosemary with a hose or under the tap if I am using it for cooking. I don't believe it does any damage other than look a little unsightly.

    The bug willl do no damage (or no discernible damage) to the plant. Pick a bit which has no spit on it for cooking. You should be washing it anyway so even if there was a no bit available a quick wash would sort it out.

    i have been washing it off but didn,t know if the bug damaged the plant.thanks for the advice.:beer:
