Barclaycard rewards - doubling?

I was looking at the Barclaycard rewards you can get with your points the other day and saw that the BHS gift cards were half the cost compared to all other stores, meaning for my welcome bonus I could have got £60 oat BHS instead of £30 at anywhere else. I double and tripled check it because it seemed odd.

It has now returned to the usual price. Does anyone know if this was a glitch, a one off or a regular occurrence? i.e. is it worth waiting and seeing if something similar turns up again?

It wasn't a glitch, just a promo offer.

They'll probably do something similar in the future, but it's too early to tell, since that card has only existed since about October time.

thanks. Do you have any idea how long it was valid for and if there was any advertising of it (email maybe)?

No problem, I didn't look into it as I don't shop in BHS, but https://forums.moneysavingexpert.com/discussion/4621281 states that it ran until the end of May.
