Our kitchen does not have a kitchen hood, and I want to get one, above the 4 ring gas hob is a small cupboard, so I can't have a island, chimney or integerated one.
But I wondered which would be best a canopy or visor,
I've been looking at this one

would it mean I just cut a hole in the bottom of the cupboard, put this in?, and hey presto go, we would not be connecting it to the outside wall, but will be re-circulating, so would need to change the filters.
thanks

This hood is a canopy model designed to go into special canopies. Check the dimensions and you'll find it wont fit inside the depth of a standard wall cabinet. We’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0

plus it must be fitted at the correct height for your hob, it will tell you what the min height is to install it in the hob instructions, if you don't have these & can't find out the make & model of your hob, then British Standard is 760mm above the hobI'm only here while I wait for Corrie to start.
You get no BS from me & if I think you are wrong I WILL tell you.0 -
;)You also shouldnt have a cupboard above a hob unless it conforms to the relevant legislation, fire hazard, thats why cooker hoods are metal;)Signature removed0
