Faulty tablet, can I return it to store?

Options
Its between 2 months and literally the start of 3 months max since I bought it.

I bought it to read in bed but after the first few nights never used it but did notice it sometimes did not accept me touching the screen or was very slow.

I had it turned off for 2 months then had to recharge it to get it to work.

First It keeps dropping charge, I can take it out fully charged and then it says 70% charge left, and if I do anything like browsing it lasts a few minutes before needing recharged, also it has formatted my sd card everytime it has been off for more than a day.

With this in mind what can I do? it's about 2 and a half months old at this point.

If the item is faulty you need to take it back to the retailer you bought it from. As it is less than 6 months since it was purchased it is up to the retailer to prove it is not inherently faulty.

If they can't prove it is not inherently faulty then they need to issue you with a refund, replacement or repair (whichever is the least costly to them). In all likelihood they will send it back to the manufacturer. Whatever they do, they have to do it in a reasonable amount of time.

Contact the retailer and they will sort you out.
