My Friend is Missing!

I'm sure I am worrying about nothing, but I have a friend who I speak to everyday.

He works abroad a lot, and is there at the moment. I hadn't heard from him since Wednesday, so was a bit concerned, but figured that I would find out the reason when he returned back today.

But now I find that he has not returned, or at least I assume he hasn't as his phone is not turned on. Also he has not logged on to MSN since Wednesday.

I could contact his son and see if he has heard from him, but obviously if he has not then that will cause major panic.

I don't know the name of the hotel he is staying at, so I can't call them. I have sent texts to his phone so that as soon as he has signal I will get a delivery report.

I'm sure I am overreacting, but I just wish I knew he was alright.

Surely though, his son would know/be panicking if he wasn't home?

i WOULD CONTACT THE SON .... IF IT IS NOTHING TO WORRY ABOUT THEN YOU CAN ALL HAVE A LAUGH ABOUT IT BUT IF IT SHOULD BE SOMETHING THEN AT LEAST YOU WILL BOTH BE THERE FOR EACHOTHER ...GOOD LUCK ...

His son wouldn't know that he was missing, they don't live together so he wouldn't know something was wrong until he was told. He is only sixteen so don't want to cause him worry, and I don't have the number for the ex wife to check with her.

It is only early evening where he is, so hopefully he'll appear online this evening like nothing has been wrong ... and then I'll be shouting!

He is coming back from Venezuela. He usually flies with Air France, so I know exactly which plane he will be on, but this time he had to use another airline, so can't even tell what time possible planes would land.

Maybe he has met a woman and decided to stay out there ... but he could just let me know! x

So the US presumably? Do you know what flight he was due back on, have there been air strikes or anything?

Internal flight in VZ, then flight to Europe (probably Germany, but really don't know), then on to Birmingham. The flights are never confirmed until the last minute, but even if he had trouble getting a flight, he would be at the hotel, so still online.

Have checked everywhere for any problems, but nothing reported ... suppose that has to be a good thing?!
