Earlofdon,
I've the same problem.
Please can you tell me the phone number which was successful in contacting the right dept ay Barclays?
TaYou might as well ask the Wizard of Oz to give you a big number as pay a Credit Referencing Agency for a so-called 'credit-score'0 -

I have the same problem as yourself Robbie1mg insomuch as I just realised that no account for the storage of deeds has been received from Woolwich for some time. If Earlofdon was able to supply the information you were after ie the contact number at Barclays perhaps you could pass it on to me.
Many thanks0 -
Got a bit worried by this thread. Have an old Woolwich mortgage with only £1 outstanding since 1997. Until 2010 Woolwich charged £10/year to store deeds. Since Barclays don't charge & no contact since.
Today contacted them & there is absolutely no problem:
0800 022 4022 works (once you get through the auto-idiot recordings)
Mortgage Loan Services, PO Box 8575, Leicester, LE18 9AW is still the correct address.
Deeds are in deep storage and will not be digitised and then destroyed.
By 2005 the Land Registry entry would have been made.
Down to me to call for the deeds when I want them.
Hope this helps others.
