Can anyone advise. I am trying to ascertain the cost of one of these starting in july 07. I need to travel from lewes in East Sussex to Luton. I keep trying websites for train operators but they want a railcard ID number which I do not have.
Question is doe sanyone have any idea of how much a annual/seasona ticket is?
Thanks all:rotfl:

Hi,
I had problems getting this info on line before and ended up giving National Rail enquiries a call on 08457 484950 and they were able to find it. Otherwise ask at the ticket office of any station - they appear to be connected to the same ticketing system.0 -
It says no fares available on Avantix Traveller, possibly because this is such a long journey.
A standard day return is already a massive £48.40 - route +Any Permitted, i.e. including transfer via underground between London Victoria and London St Pancras or direct via Kings Cross Thameslink.
As a guide, a 7 day ticket is about 4 times the price of a standard day return, which is about £193.60.
A one month season ticket is 3.84 times the price of a 7 day ticket, which is about £743.40.
An annual season ticket is 40 times the price of a 7 day ticket, which is about £7744.00. This can be made by monthly direct debit at no extra charge.0 -
Can you get prices from Haywards Heath? From there it's direct on Thameslink so may be quicker/cheaper.Can I help?0

You could buy a season ticket from Lewes - East Croydon (£54.20 weekly/£208.20 monthly/£2168 yearly) & then a Luton - all zones travelcard (£86.50 weekly/£332.20 monthly/£3460 pa).
If you can stick to trains from Lewes to Haywards Heath & change there onto the FCC direct services, then a annual ticket is £992 for the first train and then £3740 pa from Haywards Heath to Luton.0
