Selling by auction - thoughts?

I have a 2009 Honda Jazz that will become surplus to requirements in September so I will be looking to sell it. I see that Honest John recommends Sure Sell if you are selling by auction. Has anyone used it and, if so, how do you think your sale price compared to, say, the part ex value of the car to a dealer or selling via Autotrader/eBay?
I quite like the simplicity and lack of hassle with auction but assume that you more than pay the price for it in the sale price?
Thanks

I'd be interested in this too - hope you get some responses.
If you do go the suresell route, I'd love to know what price you get, and what fees get charged.0 -
They can give you an indication of the likely fees (whether you sell or don't sell) on the website.0

I have bought and sold several cars at a major car auction.
Trade price is normally the sale price, at least in Glasgow.
Ebay has also been fairly good I got £1600 over trade for a three year old Cooper S.
All fairly stress free.0
