    benefits can be stopped/sanctioned at any time if you dont meet the criteria and dont abide by the rules.

    ie fail to go for a medical - benefit stopped

    benefits are not a divine right although many seem to think so.

    the incapacity benefit reassessment is proof of that. for over 20 yrs people have been getting that and theres nothing wrong with them. easy to say drink and drug problems but the can be cured. so if you choose to drink or take drugs dont expect the state to pay for it

    I didn't know about a rule change for WFI during assessment phase, but I see it might have happened. I have not heard of anyone having such a WFI though.

    The OP is on appeal for no LCW anyway and he shouldn't have any WFI or or WP requirements. His WP is carried over from when he was claiming JSA. He should have stopped going when he became sick. If he won't speak to the Jobcentre advisors and he won't just take the plunge and stop going to see what happens, then we can't help him.
