If anyone's interested, Boots are doing one third off the ColorSport range until 09/07/2013.

In my local (Wolves) branch, that means £5.45 for the eyelash dye, £5.16 for the 24 hour eyeliner and £5.32 for the eyebrow definer.
 Don't know what I'm doing, but doing it anyway...

Glad I could help. I don't know if it's this thread or what, but I've been in three Boots today looking for Black and they've sold out.

Stop it now. I want some.

It's okay, they've restocked. I've got some. I've got an interview on Thursday and I need to do my roots!

    Its due to new legislation.

Had a friend who emailed them questioning it and the response was thus

"Although the formula remains the same, the new EU legislation which will come into force in June 2013, mean that products containing hydrogen-peroxide are no longer recommended to be used on eyelashes."

I'm still using it as have been for years
I'm so boring, my clothes wanna keep someone else warm, someone cooler
  • I have been using Dylash for years. Brought a new one & used it as usual. I just used it again & noticed the name change & thought I had brought the wrong one. Checked the ingredients against my old pack & its exactly the same, so I used as I always do. ;)
  • I have really short sparse lashes, wonder if it would be noticable if I dyed mine? Anyone in the same boat?

It would be noticeable they were darker, but might not help achieve the look you are after,

Have you looked into any of the lash growth / conditioning mascaras yet? As I said I'm not convinced on the growth aspect at all, and I've used some expensive ones:o but the do seem to damage and maintain lashes better.

Growth might be more noticeable on short sparse lashes even. :). Talika brand was really conditioning. I have some other, more expensive stuff one puts on like liner to encourage growth but tbh I noticed no difference a all.
  • Was thinking of trying the Revlon grow luscious range. They do eyeliners too. Has anyone tried this range?
  • I have tried one of the lash growth serums & they do work. I used it on my brows as well as they are really sparse. You have to keep it up though. Apply it every night for a few weeks before you notice the difference. I think the one I used was Rapid Lash.
