Kitchen tiles 15cmX15cm 10cmX10cm or even smaller

I am planning a new kitchen. The units will be off-white shaker style, the worktop will be wood effect (walnut, as blocks), stainless steel hob, oven and hood. I would like to use the same tiles between the wall units and the base units including a bigger patch between the hob and the hood.
Now about the tiles, I prefer pastel colours or natural colours, with terracotta or dark brown as the darkest and cream or sand colour as the lightest, and I’m thinking of using a total of 4 colours.
Any ideas how big the tiles are nowadays? 15cmX15cm, 10cmX10cm, or even smaller mosaic ones? I am thinking of either 10X10 or 15X15.
Many thanks in advance :)

Look on the L/H side of Topps site and you see they have tiles down as far 10cm.

I know there is advice saying that the glass mosaic tiles are the ‘in’ thing, but I don't think I will go with that. Steel or enforced glass splashbacks are also out of the question. :)
Between the 15cmX15cm and 10cmX10cm tiles, would you say the larger one is back to fashion?
    Thanks in advance. :)

Your choice of tiles sounds very similar to mine . My kitchen was done last summer. My tiles are 10 x 10 and look really good . They are Homebase Cotswold in sand , terracotta and pale green.

Would also suggest 10x10,s if you are going that way. Mosaics leave you with too much grout to clean, and 15x15's still say 1980's to me......

that was what I was concerned of, 15X15 (except those Victoria style blue and white patterned tiles) may still be a bit dated.

    thanks :)

Send me a private email if you would like a photo of the finished effect. My old tiles were probably 15 x 15, white and looked like hospital tiles. They were probably put up in the 80's.
