off shore-can be location of services performing in other place?

Options
Let say we are European and we set up a company in off shore. For more relaxing atmosphere and because of lower living costs we move with a team for a couple of months in Thailand. And let say we are doing consulting services via e-mail or Skype.
Can we doing business from there without branch office or do we need to set up branch office? Are we liable to pay off shore taxes or taxes of Thailand if we are doing business from there?

thanks

P.S.: Personal incoming you get from company is another story, I am asking only about company.

Don't know about Thailand but certainly in European countries and northern America if you intend to work in that country you are required to declare it. Whether you'll pay personal taxes there again will depend on their rules as most European countries require you to pay personal tax in any country you live 183 days a year in but I'm not sure if thailand has any tax agreement with UK. So I'd get professional advice before going as you could end up paying tax in thailand and UK.
  • what if we don't finish our services completely in Thailand but just mostly and one person in off shore country finish all necessary staff in the end and also make out an account. In that case they can not say we did service in Thailand but Thailand was just outsourcing part of service.

Do you think that can be solution?

As I say I don't know about Thailand but I know that many countries will jail you if you don't pay taxes you are meant to. So I'd always recommend getting advice as Thailand jails don't look fun!

I know about Thailand so I will bump this thread up.

Thailand are very harsh on working without proper licenses or a registered company.

You require work permits in order to work in Thailand.

You are required to employ 4 Thai citizens per "alien" (foreign citizen) up to a maximum of 5 foreign citizens.

This all has to be done under a registered company that is subject to special foreign owned company taxes.

Thailand favors inward investment, it does not favor money taken from the country.

In other words it costs a fortune, choose the Philippines instead.
