Job Centre messing up

recently ive talked to family and friends and my GP and feel like i have taken a step forward from my recent trouble and would start looking for some work. so i decided to do the righ thing and sign on JSA

the second time i signed on was last wednesday and i usually get paid on a monday.. but today i didnt get paid and when i rang numerous numbers i was told theres nothing on the system to suggest i shouldnt have been paid. anyways i got a phone call back at 9am off a woman who said something had happened but its been fixed and shes sent the money out to my account and i should recieve it today... but its still not gone in and i was desperate to go out at 12 and i needed to pay a bill today and i wanted to pay that thismorning

has this happened to anyone else before where youve had to ring for your payment if so.. how long did it take? im desperate here.

If the lady has done the payment as a Faster expedited payment then yes it should go into your account by end of today.
Do you have access to on line banking? If so check that and see.

This actually happened to me last week. I signed on Tuesday and was meant to receive payment on Friday. I phoned up at 9am and the lady on the phone said that it appeared that my advisor forgot to press the option for me to get paid. I received a phone call about 11am to say i would be paid on that day, but it could take upto 8pm to be in my bank, thankfully it went into my account at 1pm. I'm guessing it's all down to who you bank with..
