Parking charge signage

I have been issued a parking charge notice twice for parking on my street.
It is a private road and there are signs in place that say I must display a valid permit. I our household we own 2 cars but the site owners have only issued us with 1 permit and refuse for various reasons (namely, legislation in place at the time of building the estate dictates that they must only provide a parking space for 1 car).
As well as the signage from Vehicle Control Services Ltd, there is a sign at the top of the road placed there by the site owners that says "private land - access for residents and visitors only". As we are residents, does this mean we have a case against the parking charge?
Thanks!!

Well any private PCN is a fake one so of course you have a case - this isn't a 'fine' and isn't a real parking ticket! :rotfl:
If this was in England/Wales then there is an appeals procedure but you should only send the first challenge to VCS once the registered keeper receives the first letter in the post. Never respond to a windscreen fake PCN from a scammer (unless you have to because your vehicle is a company/hire/leased car).
Just keep the fake PCN and wait for the first letter (and keep all the postal envelopes as well as their letters, all useful evidence to win at POPLA).
Are you parking the cars on shared private roadway? Or in visitors bays or what? Or on your own land?
Are you a leaseholder or freeholder or tenant please? Makes a difference to how you can word your challenges when you get the first Notice to Keeper in the post.
When you get a rejection you'll be offered the second stage appeal = POPLA. That's the one we can help you word to win; do not send a normal appeal at that stage, it needs legal points to be a likely winner.PRIVATE 'PCN'? DON'T PAY BUT DON'T IGNORE IT (except N.Ireland).

Is it only the site owners sign at start of the road?I'd rather be an Optimist and be proved wrong than a Pessimist and be proved right.0
