IF you have any food stuffs at all, post on the old style thread for ideas for how to make some meals from them.
Does the youngster have any cash you could borrow? Mum used to borrow from me and my siblings if she was penniless when we were small and would give us 'interest' when she paid it back.0 -
It may not be immediate, but can be short term; how about putting up a card in local shop window offering to do some housework, ironing, dog walking etc.
When we have needed help like that, it is one of the first places we look if it is not by word of mouth.0
