Bank of China do it in theory, but they value based on resale value.
I suspect Skipton is your only choice.I am a Mortgage Broker

Is there any reason your against Skipton?
There wont be many deals offering cheaper rates than skipton on 90% new builds.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. If thats the case, we could do with knowing why they have said no. No just looking for a better rate thats all. The rate is 4.19% through a broker0
-
Is it specifically a fixed rate your looking for?
If your happy to look at variable rates you can knock 0.2% off that - But it will only make £10 a month different on a £100k mortgage.
To be honest Skipton are pretty much up there. As i said there may be the odd slightly cheaper deal but were not talking a massive amount cheaper and the service (in my opinion) is really good with skipton, its worth paying an extra couple of pounds a month for rather than having the hassle of a fussy lender.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Just 4.19% is still high considering BOE is still 0.5%!
I'm probs better of sticking with that 2 year fix, I'm buying a new build for £115k and selling my house for £70k and owe £60k on mortgage so i'm getting a mortgage for £103 ish.
It says Free standard legals and valuation for remortgages - I would qualify for those wouldn't I?0 -
No. You are not remortgaging. You are moving home, so the fees are payable.I am a mortgage broker. Take the Skipton rate if you can get it Craig.
It is competitive and if you are buying new build with 10% deposit it is take it or leave it.I am a Mortgage Broker

Thanks. If I had an extra few thousand do you think the rate would differ much so my mortgage is 85% LTV instead of 90%?0
