Living Social

Although I have used Living Social several times successfully, they have now changed their small print and I have been caught out. There is an expiry date on their vouchers. The vouchers are designed to be folded into four and on the front is displayed the expiry date. Inside it gives a date by which the deal, in this case a restaurant deal has to be booked by, one month before the expiry date. My deal still had three weeks to go before expiry and I phoned the restaurant and was told that the voucher was useless as I had not booked before the date which was a month in advance of the expiry date. Am I being cynical in thinking that the placing of the booking date is not on the front of the voucher, but inside. For anyone who has used this site several times, this is an unexpected change in their rules. I have contacted Living Social help desk but, of course, had no reply.
BE WARNED, if you use this site, check what the booking date is as well as the expiry date.
