Rotterdam RET travel zone question

Hi, we are headed to Holland for hols soon and we are stopping in Rotterdam. We also want to go to the Hague and Delft. I've been looking at the Rotterdam Welcome pass, not so much for the 25% off attractions, but more for the travel aspect, as it allows travel within the rotterdam ret zones, but also says on NL trains in this area. Has anyone any experience of it allowing you to go as far as Delft or The Hague, if so, looks far better value than buying separate trips. Very grateful for anyone who is in the know to pass on their advice. Also if there is a "must do" for kids in the areas mentioned, also great to know. We are already going to duinrell, and the rotterdam maritime but were considering the zoo etc..? Thanks, Sal x
