    Evening all

    Welcome Claudesmum.

Lots of laundry done, our bed remade and dishes done and that is it. Never mind. Find it hard to settle to doing stuff with workmen in although he is mainly outside.

Paid stuff early in the morning until lunchtime and then back for another Gov meeting at 4pm so not going to be very productive tomorrow I fear.

Just need to sort out ironing a dress for tomorrow and then I may call it a day.

Welcome claudesmum! It really helps. Try setting your kitchen timer for just 15 min then tackle one small corner. You'll be amazed how much you can do. Have a box for rubbish, a box for recycling, a box for stuff that needs to be sent to another room etc. Then have a brew and survey your progress. Hopefully you will be spurred on to do another 15min. Once you've started to clear stuff away, it's surprising how quick cleaning can be.

Pigpen, how are your grandbeasts nearly 1???

I go on holiday 8 weeks tomorrow! :T We all have loads of clothes, but DD needs swimmy bottoms and I want a plastic shower curtain. So I can make them a paddling pool on the beach when I need them to stay in the shade. Last year my mum had to carry DD screaming out of the sea - people must have thought she was being kidnapped ;)

Not a lot achieved tonight - FIL is here, so we've had a little natter but he's not very talkative tonight. Anyway, he's been fed and given the remote control so in true man style he channel hops to the most boring program then starts to nod off, till I try to reclaim the remote "oh I was watching that" :rotfl: still he put the garden chairs and bikes away whilst I bathed DD. DS been swimming so showered there. DD came home with blue hands. So I needed to soak her :p

Kitchen dailies done, clothes out for morning, packed lunch made etc.

Nearly zzzzzzs time I have an early start tomorrow.

    X

Well I'm up and about so first things first need to declutter tea into myself and DH then pack him off to work. I have a doctors appointment at 9:20 so hoping to get some flying done (and finish the kitchen at last) before then. I know I should have moved on to the next days rather than lingering, but it really needed doing and I've managed to get rid of a lot of gibble, so it's looking much better for it. Just need to reorganise and clean the cupboard I avoided yesterday because it had a HUGE spider in it :o, clean the fridge, mop the floors and then it's done!

Hope everyone's looking forward to a full day of flying - I need to stop being distracted by the tennis and nice weather!

    Monday - kitchen

Only got 15 minutes - done
    30 minutes to spare
    sweep and mop the floor
    clean out the tin cupboard
    Got an hour
Clean the fridge including the door seals and drain hole

    Tuesday - Living room/Dining Room/Family Room
    Only got 15 minutes

27 fling boogie - rehoming items which are cluttering these areas
Really need to do some ironing
    30 minutes to spare
    Hoover and/or mop the floor
    Tidy bookcases/shelves
    Got an hour
    Wax/polish any furniture in need
Wipe the legs of any furniture
    Extras
    Dust any flat surfaces
Wash throws/cushion covers/curtains whilst the weather is set fair

    Wednesday - Hall and Studio
    Only got 15 minutes
    Hoover these areas
Collect up any cups/plates etc from other rooms (get the culprit to do this)
    30 minutes to spare
    Clean a window or 2
Clean the downstairs toilet and basin
    Got an hour
    Shine some mirrors
    15 minutes rehoming/decluttering
    Cobweb extermination
    Extras
Bin pens which no longer work and sharpen pencils
HH me time for some crafty, beautifying or just sitting and being
Wash any coats/gloves/scarves etc and store away - I'm declaring winter over

    Amy's Extras for this week:
    Revise for next week's exams
    Complete tax credits renewal
Look at holidays for August and honeymoons for my sister
    Talk to Unison
Organise physio appointment and antenatal classes
