    Debt-free and Proud!
I'm still on the kitchen, and haven't even got round to doing the floor yet! I have managed to get rid of 3 big bags of assorted junk / tat though, as well as sorting out the cupboard of doom. Going to have to take a tea break and get back in there :rotfl:
  • Hi All

Do you mind if I join you? I know it is a Tuesday evening but I still haven't done any housework (well, apart from the pots last night) and my house looks like I have been burgled! I am hoping that posting on this site will help me get my head in gear and get on with it.

Today I've managed to swallow the ginormous frog that has been gloating and croaking at me in the office for the past week :T
There are still several tadpoles floating around, but now almost everything in there is within easy reach, so it's easier to cope with all the sorting that still needs to be done. This is definitely my RoD - unless you count the garage, which is mainly DH's responsibility and is even worse because he is packing to a completely different system.

The CS van came this morning to collect some unwanted furniture (our new house is much smaller than this one ;)) and now I have space to move round in the DR too. Another box of books will be winging its way to my godson in Germany tomorrow, thereby meaning 50cm less shelf space will be required in the new house. We're leaving all the office bookshelves behind, and they cover 2 walls from floor to ceiling so I shall notice the difference! At last I feel that everything is beginning to come together, and I might be ready for the removals people a week today.

Two more friends are coming for a meal this evening... same menu as for all the rest! :p

Welcome to all new flyladies

(((Hugs))) to all in need, especially Dusty and healing vibes to your friend.
Glad to hear you've still got your tooth, mrs-mp. I shall need to go to the dentist for a check-up as soon as we've settled into the new place.
    Skint, how are you?

Bother!!! I have possibly infected my babies with the pox of the chicken so we don't have to go to OH's mums in 2 weeks and she just cancelled on us... at least I will be unable to go until after the baby arrives now ;) unless I decide I want a baby holiday :p The hospitals in Mankchester cannot be anywhere near as bad as the cattle market here! Travelling ALL that way at 31 weeks pg when I am prone to prem babies is a bit of a risk tbh... though I believe there is something that weekend which means I need to be here.. not sure what it is but I'm sure I can conjure up something... oooh.... I think I might have said to DD1 about having a gathering here on the 30th for Spams birthday (23rd) ... though I'm not 100% what we decided.. if anything..

I've done fluff all today.. folded 4 loads of laundry and put it away, sorted all the shopping, got the last couple of baby bits.. apart from its towels.. ok so I bought sponges today :p .. I didn't even do school pick ups I bossed DS2 and DD2.

Beastlets in bed.. and fairly quietish.. for now!

Off to scoff maltesers, knit some blanket and watch stargate :D

Tomorrow night OH is out until 11pmish with DS1 so I am taking the lappy and my knitting upstairs and watching rubbish and slobbing in bed from as soon as the littlies go to bed.. oh.. that will probably be just after 8 because the girls are at God Squad until then.

I've arranged for a charity to come and collect the pile of stuff from my room. He's coming Thursday afternoon or Friday morning depending on when he can fit me in as he's mad busy :D Can't wait for it be gone as its been there in one form or another for about 4 years :o Going to be fun trying to get it all together and downstairs in time as I'm working all day tomorrow
