Paintballing for 24 children london

Hi, I'm asking for some expert advice regarding paint-balling. I realise that mostly these are corporate events and therefore are prone for these type of comapnies to milk as much money out of clients as possible. Paintballing companies do this we have been told through, small print in the contracts clients sign, specifically around the number of balls etc per person which eventually turns out to be very expensive and out of control.
HOWEVER my daughter is in the last few months of her last year of primary school and due to her parents recently splitting up, has been promised the paint-balling party of a lifetime involving her classmates whom many of she wont be in contact in the foreseeable future.
We are not rich nor is she spoilt we just want her to have a great memory amidst the traumatic scenario she has endured over the last few months! Can someone offer their expert opinion and advice about paint-balling offers. Either an actual genuine promotion or a genuine company that doesn't rip people off. with hidden charges etc
A family orientated paint-balling company in the LONDON area would be ideal
WE are looking to get the best deal that we can possibly get with a party of 24 kids. We need urgent help to get the best bang for buck? It would be most appreciated.
thank you

Have you ever been paintballing yourself? I haven't but my OH has a couple of times as an adult and he says that when you are hit it is actually quite painful. I suspect it might not be a lot of fun for primary school age kids if a grown man got sick of being hit quite quickly!
Have you thought about Lasertag instead? Same principle but no pain involved and I think quite a bit cheaper. There are a few places dotted around London that do it0 -
The minimum age is usually 12.
It hurts!0 -
I agree with the others, and I would try lazer tag if I were you.
I went paintballing about 6 years ago (probably about 24) and it would take a lot of persuasion to convince me to go again- it was so painful, I had a massive bruise that 18 months later was still visable at times, and other bruises were so tender for a few weeks, I honestly wouldnt take anyone under 15/16.0 -
I would agree with the other suggestions of lazer tag. OH went paintballing yesterday for a stag weekend and got some very nasty marks off being hit with the paintballs  After entry fee, paint ball costs etc it ended up costing over £40 per person.2022 wins include.... £1,000 cheque £150 ASDA gift card £250 Impericon gift voucher £100 cheque £100 of plant bulbs £100 Bower Collective voucher0

You're sending 10 year olds paintballing?? Good God. I was shot in the back and ended up with a bruise the size of a dinner plate. It was agony. Can't you go to Laserquest instead?"Growth for growth's sake is the ideology of the cancer cell" - Edward Abbey.0

Sorry to say, but you should have researched before promising a paintballing party, minimum age is 12 in the majority of places and all participants have to have a form signed by their parents confirming they are 12, no form, no play.
In don't know which side of London you are orn, but Mayhem at Abridge do paintballing for over 12-s and laser tag for under 12's their outdoor facilities are excellent and they'll pick you up from Theydon Bois tube station (central line)

Assuming you can find a venue that allows for younger children then do bear in mind the cost. It's very very easy to 'sign up' to what seems to be a good deal @ the time i.e a fun salesguy in a shopping centre, but it definitely is expensive.
In my experience there are a min of 6 'rounds' in the day ie they all go off and play in the woods for c. 30 mins. An average number of balls needed is 100 per session which last time my son went was £6.95 per 100. Then you just do the calculation for all the kids for the nmber of sessions and you will see what mean!
Some venues offer food eg you can order pizza but this isnt cheap. I took my own sandwiches/crisps/drinks etc.
its a great day out but just be prepared!
Hope this helps0 -
I took my son for his 10 th birthday they had a great time, was a proper kids one so smaller guns etc0

I would second Laser Mayhem at Abridge, my ds went to a party there, very well organised. He had a fantastic time.0
