You can trust the above poster to help you.

Meawhile - and for newbies browsing here with Parking Eye fake parking tickets like yours - here are some examples to consider.

These will keep you busy for a while, use the wording(s) as appropriate to your case. Do NOT 'tell the story of what happened' (mitigation) - won't help, won't work, waste of breath (or typing) - POPLA not interested.

HTH - but do pm Dave for help with your final appeal to POPLA before sending it! I assume this was England/Wales where POPLA applies?

Yes you can mention this but the only way you could do so without naming the driver could be to say 'the driver has dyslexia and would have needed signs which comply with the requirements of the BPA Code of Practice which yours do not. This and your other breaches of the BPA Code will also be raised in my POPLA appeal if you should reject my challenge.'

You are not on any 'hook' unless you count PE treating you like a 'hooked fish' to catch out with their little money-making scheme!

Safe to say that if you PROPERLY and STRONGLY appeal to POPLA you should indeed win. Read other threads on here of course though or you won't see and learn from the 'POPLA decisions' thread and what about the 'POPLA Annual Report thread' from yesterday - read 'em and any other current threads from recent days on this parking forum.

Don't know what you mean by 'the form from the pepipoo link'? I assume you mean you have a POPLA form or code already, from Parking Eye with that rejection letter?

Then you'd be best drafting your POPLA appeal now based on the examples shown perhaps plus anything else unfair/unclear you can think of to add. Then show us your draft so we can help to ensure you've not missed a trick before you submit it to POPLA using the code/form given to you by PE.

3 out of the 4 are POPLA appeal examples (not the parking cowboys link - that's just a letter for the PPC but you are past that stage).

Do not just copy one of them verbatim; read the 3 examples and use some paragraphs from each which you understand and like and think are relevant. Come up with your own hybrid POPLA appeal that makes sense for your case and post your draft here.

I've used my local Aldi regulary for years, they've never charged for parking, last week we went to a different Aldi up the road. Today we recieved a Parking Eye fine for £70, we didn't notice any signs as daft as it sounds or a parking machine, we didn't signs inside either. We know you have to shop at Aldi to use the carpark, which we did.

    Advice please?
