Giant Mean Virus - Have I fixed it??!

Hi

I suddenly got a virus this morning giving me lots of warning triangles, the loss of my Yahoo page and also a new Security Toolbar 7.1. Apparently this was very bad. I was just about to pay £70 to Norton to fix it, but did the Ad-Aware scan first and it all seems to have gone - but has it??

Would anyone be able to tell me how to check? Thanks

Do you have any antivirus software installed?

Yep, done all those and checked the threads on here. It seems to be gone but I need to do some online banking and want to make sure. I have a Hijack This file if that helps?!

In safe mode double click on SmitFraud and select option 2,after running Smitfraud run AVG(complete system scan),when AVG has finished scanning remember to click on Apply All Actions if anything is found,then boot back into normal mode

your version of Java is out of date, go to add/remove programs and delete any old versions and then download from here

run hijackthis again, tick those items in the log and then click on the fix selected button
