EDF Blue

Interesting! Comparison site stated I may be entitled to up to £221 savings a year (I'm already with EDF on standard variable). I had to go to EDF website to get their quote which amazingly only stated a saving of £48! Is the comparison site giving real savings quotes?

The comparison sites are as accurate as the information you give them. The way to get the most accurate quote is to put in the actual number of kW hours (kWh) you were billed for in the last 12 months.

You'll have to provide a little more information for anyone to look into this further:

    What is needed is:

    1. How you currently pay (e.g monthly DD, cash on receipt of bill, etc)
    2. Your supply region (or first part of your postcode)
    3. The comparison site you used
    4. The annual consumption figures in kWh you input into that comparison site

Alternatively, use some more comparison sites. When 2 or more comparison sites give the same result, that is probably the right answer ;)

Thanks for the replies. The site was through MSE and I gave all my details including monthly direct debit and kWh for the last 12 months!

Sorry, you're wasting your time here if you will not provide the information I requested in my previous post.

There's a 'Thanks' button available specifically to thank posts you find helpful ;)

Wywth it amazes me how aggreesive you are when replying to posts, the only thing the OP failed to give you was the start of the post code. However, this appears to be not untypical having seen other replies you have given to others.

    Incorrect.

The OP has not answered questions 2,3 or 4.

The OP does not need to provide the first part of the postcode if they feel uncomfortable with that - I gave another option as the primary request.
I only asked for information that is absolutely necessary to help.
