Downside to requesting credit reports ?

Is there any downside to requesting a credit report ?
Myself - currently not working full time - on a medical pension - mortgage paid off - decent savings - no credit cards - I was wondering whether it is worth my requesting a report, purely out of interest to see what info is held on me ??

Only possible downside I could see for you is if you have defaulted on debts and dont want to be found.
Because once you request them you will reappear on their radar.0 -

I have never defaulted on any payment - this would be purely out of interest (as well as to gain £5 from Quidco !!)0
