OK. Have just updated my signature with my SOA. It's scary!

Any advice as to which debt I tackle first?

I'm going to start reclaiming bank charges from my old accounts, I've already opened a new account in case my old one is closed.

Any help and advice would be most welcome!

(Hope I did the signature thing right and it works.....:rotfl: )

Check out the Snowball calculator for some inspiration on the best order to tackle your debts.

If you can also post a list of your income and outgoings, we might be able to find some areas where you can find a few extra pennies to throw at your debts.

Good luck! It's a fine goal, but I think I need to give it a miss - I'm 30 in a couple of days and I fear it's too ambitious for me :rotfl:

Let this one slip for a while but I'm back now! Why do creditors ignore you when you try to repay them? I'm annoyed, only 3 of my creditors are keeping in touch with me, so I'm making repayments to them and not bothering with the rest until they reply to my offers and letters. This may turn out to be a mistake however, but I'm so frustrated with hitting brick walls all the time. At least by concentrating on those that have acknowledged I'm alive I can make a dent in my debts.

    More later..
