    Your selling the house as it is for that price.

    People seem to get a bit confused with these surveys, they are a basically 'recommendations' not legal requirements.
    Sure, the wiring may well benefit from being bang up to date, but it's highly unlikely it's unsafe (unless that's what they've determined).

    and sure, the UPVC's may well do with updating but again, it's just a recommendation.
    Bit like coming in and saying, oh, that TV is 1 year old now, you can get better one now ….. yah, sure !

    So what happens if they knock you down 15k and then don't do the work .... see what Im saying.
    It's not a requirement.
