Staying at Heathrow Overnight - Help

Hi MSE'rs

We are going to New York in November and have decided to stay at an airport hotel the night before. We are probably staying on Bath Rd (using free public transport of course), so as all organised MSE'rs we are looking at where we can use are Tesco rewards to eat that night.

So we need help on:-

1) where to eat the night before? (don't want to travel far)
2) where to have breakfast? (as flying from T3 looks like only Strada for brekkie, but any regulars from Heathrow your help would be greatly appreciated).

We usually fly from Gatwick, so any help would be great. :money:

It might work out cheaper overall to stay at the Feltham Travelodge-right by the station and the bus to the terminals is dirt cheap with an Oyster card (mostly airport workers on it) -lots more cheaper food options in the town -and a Tesco to pick up breakfast in the morning too as another option.

  • My advice would be to stay easyHotel, they do a take-away breakfast for £5 which is pretty tasty, and pretty generous. The hoppa bus stops at the hotel, which costs £4.50 per person, however the hotel have their own taxi transfers also costing £4.50 per person. Eating the night before is a hard one though...maybe someone else can help? I usually just eat before I get there.
