Advice regarding wedding dress

Options
My daughter in law to be has purchased her wedding dress from a shop that states on its web site ''In house alterations carried out to ensure a perfect fit''
Well they have made alterations but it still doesn't fit 'perfectly' and they have said there is nothing else they can do and it will be alright...She is not happy and the wedding is 5 weeks away .
Has she any chance of a refund with section 75 from the credit card company getting her money back for a dress that does not fit?

She could file a section 75....however....I'd advise politely working with the store, saying you aren't happy and she is is looking into how to proceed next, with the credit card company.

With 5 weeks to go....chances are she will end up with an off the shelf anyway. It's a very short time to get a dress in and altered, so she maybe in a worse position than now. An ill fitting dress and the cost of it down until the credit card company sorts it.

I think it may also depend on what she is not satisfied with and any other reasons... for example did she take the shops advice on the size she should order in or did she order smaller thinking she would diet. .. then hasn't lost as much and so the shop is now trying to alter something that is simply too small.

    What is she dissatisfied with?

Having read that, I hope someone takes those blustering jokers to court so they can eat some humble pie. Assuming the programme was correct of course.
