Am I allowed to advertise a job on here?

Well think the title is self explanatory.
The company I work for has been advertising for a book keeper for a number of weeks and we've had no joy. All the applications so far have had no book keeping experience. I work in a law firm and the advert does specify book keeping experience in a law firm but they're now willing to overlook this just to appoint a new book keeper.
They advertised with jobcentre. reed and with agencies.
Our HR sent an email out asking everyone to speak to people they know saying we were looking.

you would think you would be inundated from Reed etc.
Granted, from recruiting recently i have been inundated but only about 2-3 per 100 are even remotely suitable for the roles i had advertised.0 -

Yes why is that? to work in a law firm you need law experience even though and invoice is an invoice and a payment is a payment the world over!
I have over 20 years exp and law firms wont even look at my CV
Find it hard you can not find anyone thoughWe’ve had to remove your signature. Please check the Forum Rules if you’re unsure why it’s been removed and, if still unsure, email forumteam@moneysavingexpert.com0 -

its simply against the forum rules.
Personally I'd rather interview a jobseeker off here than get one (often forced to apply) from the jobcentre or an agency that just collects a load of CVs and passes them on, but fair enough, I understand the rules are there for a reason.
A forum with strict rules: no agencies, no mass postings, no endless adverts for recruitment consultants or sales, just carefully worded adverts giving full details from the actual company or person(s) offering the job itself would be a useful site for jobseekers - and recruiters who'd save a fortune on agency fees - imo.0 -
I have used Gumtree, you get some decent replies.0
