ahh ok... just checking so a £40 ish purchase doesnt cost 2k  ah bummer... how are you enjoying your new job then? what you thought it would be?

The job is absolutely great thanks PaP. :j It is hard work, but it is using my experience, and everyone is most helpfull. Only 'problem' is that it is still temporary, although no finish date given yet. I think that they are pleased with the results so far - still hoping they make it permanent.

Glad to hear it's going well! Are you having to stay away from home during the week?

Afraid so pbr - but it's not too bad - I get quite a few invites for dinner - so not exactly wasting away.

I see by your new avatar that you are in 'ma hoose' - does that mean that you are no longer 'saving in vain' for a deposit?

    Evening

I have spent £4.50 on bus fare to work (return ticket) fortunately for me, work took me back to my home town so didn't need the return part but the travel time home was done in work's time!

I popped in to see my friend and then it started raining so I considered getting a taxi home but decided to nip in to asda for a few bits (£8.12's worth) to see if the rain eased off. It didn't, but still I braved it on to the bus stop to catch the bus and walk that half mile from the stop home... costing another £1.40

All in all £14.02 but it could have been a lot worse!!!
Ever wonder about those people who spend £2 apiece on those little bottles of Evian water? Try spelling Evian backward.
