One of my (supposedly) male hamsters has had babies - help!

Oh this has brought back memories! My lovely little male Syrian hamster decided to have 8 babies one day! a week after we brought 'him' home from .... you guessed it.. Pets at Home! Only 2 survived
in the end, you can imagine what happened :eek::(
I still love Hamsters though and would love another one someday.
BTW we contacted P@H at the time and they gave us food and another cage to help with the babies.Not a newbie, just can't remember old email address to log on :doh: :rotfl:0
