Does anyone know where we can go for a nice-ish early evening meal (ie not mcDonalds!) in London, preferably with 2-for-1 or special offers? Looking for somewhere for a Thursday night.

    Wagamama with their current 2 for 1 would be my first suggestion.

    Alternatively you could pop into your local bookshop and look for the timeout cheap eats in London guide, a quick flick through might give you some ideas.

    You could try Belgo.

    Their "Beat the Clock" promo is fab. You pay the price of the time you order. Eat at 6 pay £6.

    6 or 7 different choices plus a glass of wine/ beer/ soft drink.

    And the beer's great :)

    Centraal in Covent Garden is 5-6.30 and Kingsway is 6-8.
