Clarks refused to fit her and instead advised Startrite as they do narrower shoes (that are much more expensive!!) I respected their honesty, but was pretty hacked of that my 3 yr old's shoes cost £38!!! We bought her Clarks trainers last week, which she has to wear to school as neither Clarks nor Russell and Bromley could fit her in ANY shoe!!!!!! We tried sale AND full (£40) price and still came home with nothing.
Just to balance it, my son has an 'H' width!!!! 2 girls are an E and the baby was measured a 5E, yet was fitted in a 5H:rotfl: It is a crazy world in Clarks:rotfl:
Funny you should say that savagevixen as I was told the same yhing last year when trying to get her some shoes (think they said startrite shoes started at a D fitting whereas clarks start at an E). I couldn't find any I liked so got her another pair of trainers (from a sports shop). At 4 1/4 she has never had a pair of shoes which never really mattered but with her starting school in September I'd like her to have a pair.0 -

No to Safari babe - I was suprised actually
White Scrummy went into the sale. Pink is still full price.Sometimes it's important to work for that pot of gold...But other times it's essential to take time off and to make sure that your most important decision in the day simply consists of choosing which color to slide down on the rainbow...0 -
Hi, I really want some dark brown sandals called 'Perfect Flower' in Ebony but they are still at full price in my store, any ideas if they will be going into the sale at any point? I wanted them for a wedding later next month. Thanks!0

We are going away on Boxing day to the Caribbean, I have a 20 month old daughter who will be needing some form of sandal.
It's really hard to guess which size she will be at that point - when is the latest we can shop for sandals for her to be sure of a good selection, and what would you advise in terms of guesswork on sizes/styles that will fit that far in advance?
Thansks for your help

Hi Leah,
Clarks usually keep one style of sandal throughout the year - its just never on display but kept in the stockroom but there is not usually a full size range.
On 11th July more sandals are going into the sale. so after that there will be little full price choice left.
Doodle sandals are staying full price though and we seem to have better stock of these than we have in previous years. These are kept all year round usually too. But it really does depend on the weather - if we get a few days of good weather these sell out really quickly but if we continue to have pants weather we should still have plenty in stock. So, my help isn't worth much I'm afraid - it really does depend on the weather!!
If you want to buy her some then I'd get them at the end of July/beginning of August at the latest. There wont be much left in the way of leather sandals but the doodle sandals are ideal for where you are going - she'll be able to paddle in the sea in thosePersonally, I would get just half a size bigger than what she is at that time. That way even if she grows a full size they will just fit nicely whilst you are away (because growing room is 'built in'). They wont last her any longer probably but I'm presuming you just want them to fit for the holiday.
Thats just my opinion though - please dont shout at me if she whizzes past the sizebut I dont think she will.
