Good morning to all. I first joined MSE many moons ago and took part in this when Emily first started it. Although I was on a DMP I used this challenge to help save some money for Christmas. I am now debt free but still spending wildly:eek: This really helped last time so I'm hoping it will help again.
Today I rounded down my bank account and put £5.28 into the savings.Jan NSD - 9/100 -
I would like to join please!
I am a long time lurker and naturally quite frugal (hate waste!). But a horrendous attack of wet and dry rot in my flat has left me with a £6250 credit card debt. It is on 0% until Sept 2014 so I have to get onto it quick smart before the interest starts getting added
So today I called up RBS for their sort-code and account number and have set them up as a payee on my online banking for easy access to making a daily PAD.
Today I PAD'd £4.82 :T
Every little helps, right? :rotfl:

I have various saving pots ( different denominations) and when they are full I count up and pay in a bank against a debt - I just love the look on some cashiers faces:D I do use coin bags and try to get whole amounts so they only have to weigh them but sometimes I get a roll of the eyes:rotfl: Once paid of course its logged on here as a PAD!Be the change you want to see -with apologies to Gandhi

Thanks Igamogam. I have now got the baton and hoping you all keep me very busy this month. A fantastic total for December boosted up 2013's total. It's brilliant that between us we paid over a quarter of a million pounds off our debts or to oiur savings to prevent future debts. If you read the headlines that are regularly in the press we are definitely bucking the trend.
Welcome to all returnees, newbies and New Year Resolutioners aiming to start the New Year in a debt busting way. Stick with this and you'll be surprised what a difference it makes.
So, for my first ever day totalling up, 1st Jan total was
