6 Years

Hi Guys,

Looking at my Noddle report, it says that the old accounts get removed 6 years after the account was CLOSED.

After reading numerous things on here i was under the impression it was removed 6 years after the account was defaulted.

Anyone know which is it? Adds another 4 years on to my credit file.

Account start date 28/03/2006
Account end date 30/04/2012
Repayment frequency Monthly
Date of default 29/01/2008

So what do you think happens with accounts that are not defaulted and closed?

When a default is registered, the default is removed 6 years after the date of default. I have no idea if this removes all of the account info (this would ordinarily be removes 6 years from the date of closure), but the default is definitely removed.

6 years after the default date if an account has a default.

6 years after the closed / settled date for an account that hasn't been defaulted.

So Jan 14 in your case.
