yes, i noticed this too! is amazon back on any other cashback sites?
They have just launched a link up with Top Cashback but not actually offering cashback:

    http://www.topcashback.co.uk/Blog/amazon-discount-codes-and-vouchers

Strange that they are on Maximiles though seeing as the above blog claims cashback is against Amazons own terms and conditions?

(if I were being cynical I would say it's interesting timing given the bad press Amazon have got this week  )
  • For those having problems with WSOP points not being issued, here's a ray of light.
I had the same problem so I rang WSOP and they said they audit members accounts on the 5th of every month and send details of the accounts of users who've fulfilled the wagering requirements to Maximiles, so it is then up to them to issue the points. Since I had signed up and wagered in early October and had already had a response to my query from Maximiles who tried to fob me off with the whole "you need to wait 90 days thing, I decided to email Maximilies again. I told them I had been in touch with WSOP and that Maximiles should have issued my points on or shortly after November 5th, and added that I hoped Maximiles wasn't going the way of so many dishonest cashback/points sites. I shortly after got a response saying the points were "already" in my account (funny that, as they weren't an hour before!) and that I shouldn't contact a partner directly as they can give "incorrect" information (doesn't seem to be the case here though!)
So if you want to give them a "gentle reminder" that you are owed points then I advise you to do something similar!
Most recent win: Sonisphere tickets + Rocket Dog shoes and goodies!
Best win to date: Designer handbag with iPhone, designer make-up and £50 Arcadia voucher inside
Total wins since starting in April 2010: 26
    Estimated total prizes worth: £2510

    Doesn't always work though.

For a survey I did that wasn't credited with the points I waited over 90 days and put in a claim including screendumps confirming the points, but no reply from Maximiles. Followed up another 35 days later and still no reply and no points
  • good news guys, got the points today for both casino.wsop.com and world series of poker, 14,000 points each lol. i joined these at 12th oct 2010, and got them today (17th november 2010) not bad. really happy, wish i had got the bonus, people were talking about the bonus and i am sure i should have qualified for that. 46k points and counting, 24 more to come (hopefully).

    Just got my 14000 points..:T

Not bad..deposited £20..Managed to up balance to £40 by playing roulette..should have withdrawn but got too excited..Eventually loss most this down to £10 after wagering about £90..Withdrew £10..so about £40 profit if I convert to a £50 Amazon voucher.

MM are getting ridicously bad at responding to queries re surveys. You actually only have to wait 30 days to query missing survey points. I'm still waiting for points from about 6 surveys. I've emailed the survey emails add several times and had no response. I've now tried emailing via their query system on the website & was told my query had been passed on 'to the account manager'. Yeah right...
  • Got my WSOP points today as well after singing up on October 14th.
  • It looks like they have revised the offer ..now you only get 14000 points even if you have signed up for both offers (casino+poker).

Its also states one per computer..There is no mentioned of one per household. So you could do the offer on another computer..at work for example?

I'm having exactly the same problem, so's my OH. Between us we have about 25 outstanding surveys, neither of us get replies to our emails. I emailed them about something totally different (i.e. not a complaint!) and got a reply right away! They just ignore it when you moan but they obviously do get the emails... so annoying. None of my survey points get credited automatically anymore, I don't know why I'm bothering to still take them. The longer it goes on, the more surveys I have that I end up missing the points for... they always used to be really good at replying, I don't know why they aren't now.

How about we put together a list of all the email addresses we know for them and see if we can find one that gets a response? At the moment I only know the standard 'maximiles' address that they put at the bottom of every survey invite. There's also a.goss@ - that one used to help out a bit but at the moment he seems to have gone awol.

Yes, A Goss was good, but from the sounds of it he's disappeared? If I ever do get a response it's ususally from a Jenny someone...
  • Personally I gave up Maximiles surveys a while back - the effort for the reward just isn't all that worth it, especially when you can't guarantee you'll get the points, and it's just an added stress keeping tabs on the surveys you've done and which you've received points for. Quite a few survey sites who were once very reliable now seem rather flaky on allocating points/rewards, which has resulted in me shutting down a few accounts.
Pleased I got those 28,000 WSOP points though - that's my boyfriend's Xmas present sorted!
