PDF editor - free

I have the results of a year of family tree work as a PDF to edit - I need to add a few pages of "graphics/photos etc"
I use OpenOffice - so can convert DOC to PDF easily
But to edit the PDF - I can either convert to DOC (Not as straightforward as you may think - problems with some of the graphics when I try the on-line freebies) - then simply back to PDF or I can add pages to the PDF using free on-line editors
My problem is finding a safe/free PDF editor - that works

Any ideas ?

You can get a genuine copy of Acrobat Pro with valid Serial number direct from Adobe
    http://www.adobe.com/downloads/cs2_downloads/

People will follow saying its an illegal download but Adobe don't seem to care - it is an old version but will allow you to add pages

If you go to the link you see a table with 4 columns.
Pick the software you want(Column 1).
    Click the download(Column 3).
Use the serial number(Column 4) when you install.

LibreOffice can edit PDF via its Draw package. OpenOffice can if you add the correct extension.

PDFXchange EDITOR (http://www.tracker-software.com/product/downloads) is a new free (some extra features in the paid version) PDF editor/viewer as an update to their existing PDF Viewer that has limited editing.

Thanks - but does Acrobat Pro v7 run on Win 7 64bit ?
    I will give it a try - but I can't see Adobe offering a freebie ?
It does say "These products were released more than seven years ago, do not run on many modern operating systems, and are no longer supported."

    Why not try it?
I'm running Photoshop CS2, from the same link, on Win 7 64bit. Not come across any problems, not expecting any.
    Move along, nothing to see.
