HMRC will only send you a paper tax calculation, called form SA302, if:
- you sent in a paper tax return before 31 October and asked HMRC to work out your tax
- you made an amendment to a paper tax return
- you sent in a tax return but HMRC doesn't agree with your tax calculation
Hi, can you report back to let us know if they actually send one because their advise above suggests they don't when you have completed online , only on paper returns ?0 -
i think that quote describes the circumstances under which HMRC will automatically send you an SA302. i've received 1 by asking for it (when i don't fall within those conditions).
1 possible reason for needing a paper SA302 is to prove your (self-employed) income when applying for a mortgage.0
