Green mould on Fence

That time again to stain & protect my fences. I have bought the ducksback 5 year stuff but before I start I need to femove the green moss that is on the part of the fence under the trees. I thought about diluted Jeyes fluid then powerwashing. Has anyone experience of this?

Many thanks.

Well to be honest all I do is brush off any loose and paint over. Its a fence, for the price and time of the jeyes and power washing you may as well buy a new panel!

It is a really sturdy fence not a panel. Not sure of the term looks like vertical planks. I dont mind spending the time to get a few years protection. Thanks though.

Use dilute bleach in a trigger spray bottle to get rid of the green stuff on the fence.

The pressure washer should remove the mould quite easily - no need for any chemicals.

Allow to dry & then apply the ducksback :)
