Having Hell from the Halifax (PPI)

Hi I'm wondering if anyone could help me, I've got two products that maybe eligible for a PPI claim (Credit Card, Loan.) However these products are currently being paid off via Oliver, Blair and Scott and Moorecroft.

I popped into my local Halifax branch who told me I wasn't able to reclaim any PPI as they do not have the product's anymore due to the problems I once had. When I phoned the Halifax up, I've been given so many address I do not where to begin at the moment, all I'm asking does anyone know the address I need to write to, to get my paperwork with the T&C resent to me, and where I need to send to to start the reclaim? I'm at the end of my tether with this....Can anyone please help?

You were given wrong information by the Halifax staff member if that was what you were told. However, popping into the branch and asking someone who doesnt deal with these things is frequently going to end in the wrong answer.

You phone Halifax up on the PPI complaints line or you send it to their complaints team on the address on their website.

Remember that if your complaint is successful, they are allowed (and almost certainly will) use the redress payment to clear you debt (including any amount that may have been written off as part of an agreed settlement) rather than pay you the money. So, under no circumstances must you employ a third party to put the complaint in for you.

You also don't need the T&Cs. You need the account numbers [of the loan and CC, NOT the PPI account numbers] and a valid complaint.
If you don't have the account numbers you will have to send them a SAR and £10. to see what info they have about them.
