Hi
I have just got a hp pavilion dm1 4401sa from John Lewis and I'm unsure whether to stick with Norton which we had on our now dead laptop or if it is worth relying on the McAfee that comes free with Plusnet. Perhaps something else is better for netbook with slower processors.
We found that once installed Norton 360 was impossible to remove from our old laptop and we felt we had no alternative but to keep renewing it. I think it slowed things down a bit and I,M not sure how a small netbook will be affected. Other than that we didn't have any problems with it and liked the identity safe password features.
It was also convenient being able to call them free for help on a couple of occasions when we got a trojan (although shouldn't Norton have protected/prevented this from happenning)
Any suggestions please?

I use Avast on my pc and Microsoft Security Essentials on my laptop. I've never got a virus on either.0

Feudal Britain needs land reform. 70% of the land is "owned" by 1 % of the population and at least 50% is unregistered (inherited by landed gentry). Thats why your slave box costs so much..0
