Barclays & PPI Claim

Advice requested
I recently rang Barclays to request repayment of my PPI that I believe was mis-sold to me. They have sent me an 11 page PPI consumer questionaire to complete for each loan I had taken out with them. The problem is the loans were taken out many years ago and I can't remember how or even if they were sold to me or just put onto the loan. Also, there is a part 'about your complaint' in which I am supposed to outline the details of who I spoke to, the info I ws given, how the terms were explained and questions I asked, none of which I can remember due to the length of time. They also want me to 'tell them why I am now unhappy with the insurance' - not sure what workding I am supposed to use here!
My son also informed me today that Barclays had lost their claim in the High Court regarding the fairness of the PPI... If this is the case do the above forms stil need to be completed..
Any informtion would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you

If you don't fill in the form with your complaint then you have zero chance of having anything refunded.
It's not enough simply to have had Payment Protection Insurance (PPI), it has to have been mis-sold to you.
It's not somehow intrinsically wrong to have insurance! There has been no court case over the "fairness" of PPI.
In addition, as this finance is from "many years ago", it's likely the Bank will no longer hold any record of it.

Yet you say they were mis-sold. So, what exactly are your reasons for complaint?

You state that on your form.

    The truth is best.

I'm afraid your son is wrong. That wasnt what the court case was about.

Having say 6 months full pay, 6 months half pay is a good complaint reason on credit card PPI or loan PPI. Not so good on MPPI though. If it was just SSP or say 1-3 months then its not such a good reason.
