Credit Bureau has my wrong address

Hi all,

I recently moved house at the start of the month (May 2013) and I want to transfer a balance on a credit card. Tried it and they knocked me back. Then I tried to use the "pre-application eligibility checker" and when I enter my new address it says that they can't find my details at the credit bureau.
When I enter my old address, it tells me that I would have an 80% chance of getting the card.

So, who do I have to contact to update my address?

I've told everyone I thought I should have including my bank, my current credit card is also with the same bank.

Thanks!!

It will take a while for the address changes to filter through from the bank to the CRAs.

Also, you will need to get on the register of electors at the new address for that to show up at the CRAs as well.

It will probably be July before all 3 are fully updated

I say this as some of the data on my report is nearly to 2 months out of date i.e one account hasn't been updated since 30th March?!

Anyhow applying for credit within days of changing address isn't going to look good

ideally make your applications before moving if possible
