Hi this is my first forum post and it might save me a lot of time and disapointment so here goes how far can I go back to reclaim ppi from the woolwich now part of the Barclays Bank group. My first mortgage was taken out 1985 approx. I then moved with in 2 to 3 years and took another mortgage out again with the woolwich both with ppi will I have a claim

Are you sure it was PPI? Mortgage PPI was typically a later invention.
However, even it was PPI, it would be a pretty easy rejection as a) its before financial services regulation. b) documentation is unlikely to exist c) mortgage PPI has a low uphold rate as it is and typically needs good complaint reasons to succeed.I am an Independent Financial Adviser (IFA).
