Help with a landline

hi there im moving in to a brand new council house shortly and have broadband at the moment with Orange.
Any advice on what to do?
am i the one that gets the landline put in? is it orange that does it?
or BT?
how much does it cost?
i have no idea

    Any provider can install you a landline if not already one there. BT OR do the work regardless, but that doesn't mean you have to order it through BT Retail.
    Orange can arrange a home move if you want to stay with them.
    Line provision charge is anything from £40 to £130, but usually negotiable dependng on what package you opt for.
    No free lunch, and no free laptop ;)

    And bear in mind that a home move, though usually free, will start you on a new minimum term contract.
