A not-for-profit organisation - Church/Parish Rooms, is currently on a business tariff with a utilities company; we don't use enough power and they wish to switch us to a higher tariff; does anyone have experience of registering a NFP/Charity on very basic tariffs please.

It may be worth a look at Ebico & whether they can help an organisation like yours - not for profit, one flat rate

British Gas offer Charitys a deal http://www.britishgas.co.uk/business/charity.html
Do you pay 5% vat on your usage, avoid the climate levy as reg. charity etc? See http://www.hmrc.gov.uk/charities/vat/purchases.htm
